Paul Irwin Cup 2014 Seeding and Schedules

All games for the round robin are on the back fields which have their own parking. Follow the signs to parking for fields 11-16.

Teams must check in for the semi-final games with passcards, a roster and all the players dressed and ready to play at least 1/2 hour before game time.

Procedure:

Managers must check in with their roster & passcards at least 1/2 hour before game time. For the round robin games there will be a check-in person at the storm pavillion on the lower fields.  You will need to submit a copy of your roster to that person. Send your players to the field as they will not be required to check in until the semi-finals.

Teams must check in for the semi-final games with passcards, a roster and all players dressed and ready to play at least 1/2 hour before game time.

Any quarterfinal, semi-final or final games tied at the end of regulation time, will play 2 overtime periods if necessary - golden goal will be used.  If still tied, the game will be decided by kicks from penalty mark.

Since there are no quarterfinals for the girls the 2nd place team with the best record will play the first place team with the best record, provided the 2 teams do not come from the same group.  Ignore what I wrote on the website since I just had to pick something to get the game listed.

Tiebreak rules for the tournament are the same as regular season:  head to head, goal differential, fewest goals allowed, penalty kicks

Below are the revised rules for use of Lancaster Fields  Managers are responsible for making sure that this information is gotten to all their players and parents.

No noisemakers of any kind are allowed at the fields.

NO smoking – smoking is prohibited on all Mass Youth Soccer property - including the restrooms

**Tents must be secured with sand bags at all times.  Wrapping your players’ soccer bags around the leg of the tent will not keep the tent in place when the winds cross the complex.  Tents must not be left unattended.

Spectators are not allowed on the team’s bench side of the field.  Only team officials with a “team official badge” will be permitted bench side.

Handicap parking is reserved for valid permits only.  Parking attendants will log permit numbers and license plate numbers.  We have limited handicap parking and it must be used for those who truly have the need.  Please do not borrow "Uncle Joe's" permit! Any team leaving trash on the Complex will be charged a $50.00 clean-up fee payable before their CLUB plays their next game.  This includes the parents' side of the field, warm-up and awards areas as well.  Our goal is to keep our complex clean - not to make money.  If you arrive at a field that has not been cleaned by the previous team/parents, you must advise a field marshal or a tournament staff member immediately.  If this is not done, then you will be responsible for the trash.
