KC Andre Cup 2014

There will be one playdown game necessary on the boys side

Nova will play Fuller Hamlets-G for seed #16.  This game must be played by June 4th.  Nova is the home team and will supply the field.  Fuller Hamlets win 4-3 on PK's.

Notification of the game must be emailed to MAPLE and copied to Damian Arrondo, Damian Arrondo@MassRef.net.   

No playdown games will be necessary for the girls. 

 

The KC Andre Cup is a year end tournament for the U11 age group. Participation in this tournament has no bearing on team placement for the following season. It is purely voluntary. Guest players are not allowed for this tournament but club passes are since they are permitted during the regular season.  

Format and Schedule
Depending upon the number of teams who apply there may be playdown games to determine the final participants. Playdown games will be self scheduled with the higher seed being the home team. You will need to notify this office 3 days prior to the match to obtain referees.
The tournament teams will be divided into groups for round robin play.  Seeding for the tournament will be done by section, from highest to lowest.

The tournament round robin games and quarterfinals will be held June 7th &  & June 8th.   The semi-finals and finals are June 15th. All games will be at Lancaster Fields.

The fee for the tournament is $495 and must be received by the MAPLE office by May 15th.  Payment is only available by check.

Registration for the tournament will be on line at the end of April and will be due in the MAPLE office by May 15th.Any team who does not qualify will have their check returned. The fee pays for the tournament; it is not a deposit on the fall season.

Boys:

The top 5 teams from the Blue & Green Sections for a total of 10 teams will automatically qualify.
The 6th place teams in the Blue & Green Sections and the top 3 teams in the Navy & Orange Sections and the winners of the Purple & Red sections will qualify for playdown games.
Preliminary playdown games will be between 2nd place Red & 1st place Yellow Section and 2nd place Purple & 1st place White Section.  The winners of these 2 matches will then have a second playdown game which will be against the 6th place teams in the Blue & Green Sections.
The winners of the final 6 playdown games will be the final 6 teams.
 

Girls:

Note: North Shore United and Stars are currently playing in U12. They will be seeded into the tournament.  


The top 5 teams from the Blue & Green Sections for a  total 12 teams will automatically qualify.
The 6th place teams in the Blue & Green Sections and the top 2 teams from the  Navy & Orange Sections will qualify for the playdown games.
Preliminary playdown games will be between the winners of the Purple & White Sections and the winners of the Red & Yellow Sections.  The winners of these 2 matches will then have a second playdown game which will be against the 6th place teams in the Blue & Green Sections.
The winners of the final 4 playdown games will be the final 4 teams.
